Ministers

Gareth Flanary has been the pulpit minister at the Glen Rock Church of Christ for more than 10 years.  Born in 1961, Gareth is a third generation gospel preacher following in the footsteps of his grandfather Duran and his father Sammy.  He has been in full-time ministry since 1983.  He received his training at Harding University (BA, Biblical Languages, 1981) and at the Harding Graduate School of Religion (MA, Church Growth, 2002).  He has ministered with churches in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.  He has been involved with Christian Camps and Hospital Chaplaincy.  Gareth is married and has two children. 

 

Ken Coble has been the Youth and Family Minister for the Glen Rock Church of Christ for the past 3 years.  Ken has a BA in Psychology and a BA in Vocational Ministry from Harding University.  Before becoming the Youth Minister at Glen Rock, Ken was a special education teacher for the Spring Grove school district.  Ken believes his life's mission is to reach young people and help them live for Christ.  He is the proud dad of three girls and devoted husband to his wife Amanda.
